I opened Upward Fitness Studio to provide a space where clients can be comfortable working on their fitness no matter their starting point. Coming from a history of overeating and lack of health, I found fitness when I needed it most. It became my passion, and now I am so happy to share that passion with others. With over a decade of experience in the fitness industry, I am dedicated in helping people find their health, wellness, and strength, all while making their exercise routines fun and engaging. I want to make a positive impact on every person's life, and I can't wait to help you reach your goals!

I became a personal trainer for many reasons. The 'kid' me (who had never done sports and couldn’t run a mile without being out of breath), would have needed a role model in health and exercise. The 'teenager' me (who developed binge eating disorder), would have needed a guiding hand in how to fuel my body and enjoy doing so. The 'young adult' me (who learned how to workout from ‘gym bros’), would have needed a certified individual to teach me the right way to do things. In summary: I want to be the mentor that I wish I had when I started on my fitness journey.
My focus is to bring clients the strategies that are backed by science and evidence-based research – together we will build healthy habits that are not only sustainable, but enjoyable. Fitness doesn’t have to be complicated, and the milestones you reach will be gratifying.

As a former college athlete I have a strong understanding of the effort and time needed to excel in both sports as well as general fitness. When I was growing up I would have appreciated having someone to push me in the weight room while also being supportive throughout my journey. I want to be the person that anyone can come to and learn how to strive for greatness.
With my experience I want to combine athletic performance as well as general fitness to help anyone and everyone achieve their fitness goals; whether you are looking to improve performance or just looking to live a healthier lifestyle. I am looking forward to creating programs that fit you individually to reach your overall goals. No matter where you are in fitness I am dedicated to unlocking your potential of being the best you!

With a strong foundation in martial arts and weight training, I’ve dedicated my career to helping others build strength, improve their health, and achieve their fitness goals. I started my own journey as a skinny kid learning how to gain muscle and confidence, which gave me a personal understanding of the challenges many people face when starting out. Over the years, I’ve combined hands-on experience in fitness with a broader perspective on health and wellness.
My work as an EMT deepened my understanding of the human body, emergency care, and the importance of preventive health. That experience taught me how critical it is to take care of your body before problems arise—not just for athletic performance, but for everyday life and long-term well-being.
Now, I use that combined knowledge to guide others on their fitness journeys. Whether it’s building muscle, improving functional strength, or developing healthier habits, I provide tailored support rooted in both real-world experience and a strong commitment to overall health.
